Fun Game for Socials: Liar, Liar

This is a fun game that I've used at potlucks and social events to help everyone get to know each other a little better. I haven't told them that this is actually a drinking game that was played in tea houses and shared in the book Memoirs of a Geisha.

Liar Liar
Have everyone think of 3 things to share about themselves that those present may not know. Two of the things should be true and 1 should be false. For example, I might say: I have a degree in Early Childhood Developement, I've driven a John Deere tractor, and my mother has Alzheimers.
After the player shares their three things, the other participants try to guess which one is false. (Although I live on a farm, I have never driven a tractor, so that one is false.) Can you see how you can learn a lot about each other with this game? It's a great icebreaker!
Remember to make the game optional. I say: "When it's your turn, if you would rather not play, just say "Skip me." You can still guess with us."
